Awards Evening

Our annual Awards Evening is a fantastic evening of celebration where the community comes together to recognize the academic achievements of our students.

On Thursday 11th July, we hosted our Awards Evening. Over 80 students from yr7-11 received awards from each subject areas to celebrate their hard work and dedication to the school. It was a fantastic evening, and the students made us very proud. We gave thanks to the hard work completed by the yr11 Head boy Thomas Broomfield, Head Girl Bobbi Roberts-Patton, Deputy Head Boy Harry Metson, and Deputy Head Girl Madison Ryley. We also welcomed the newly appointed team; Head Boy Joshua Prichard, Head Girl Milan Strachan, Deputy Head Girl Jessica Lawrence and Deputy Head Boy – Carl Keith. The school choir performed their version of “A million dreams”, and Amelie Foster performed a beautiful solo on the piano. We had the privilege of the Mayor of Castle Point, Councillor Colin Riley attending the event, and he enjoyed the evening as much as us. Well done to everyone who received awards, and thank you to all the staff who helped with the organisation of the event it really was a fabulous night.

We are very much looking forward to the event this year which will take place on Thursday 9th July 2020.
